Andrew Symonds was an Australian international cricketer who played all three formats as a batting all-rounder. He was born on June 9, 1975, in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
Symonds was a key member of two World Cup-winning teams. Symonds batted in the middle order for the right-handed team. He bowled medium space and off-spin alternately.
Symonds was suspended from the team after mid-2008 for disciplinary reasons, which included alcohol. Symonds was expelled from the 2009 World Twenty20 at the end of his participation, his third suspension, expulsion, or removal from the selection in a year.
