Following the release of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) by the West African Examination Council, there are plans underway to releases the Senior High School Placement of BECE graduates.
The placement of Basic School graduates in the various Senior High Schools across the country is solely base on the candidate’s performance.
The chance of getting placed in your choice of school depends on the aggregate you obtained in your Basic Education Certificate Examination result.
The better your performance, the higher the opportunity of getting placed in your first or second choice schools.
Aggregate 06 to 10 – First Choice Schools Placement
Aggregate 11 to 19 – Second Choice Schools Placement
Aggregate 20 to 29 – Third and Fourth Choice Schools Placement
Aggregate 30 to 35 – Fifth Choice Schools Placement
Aggregate 36 or More – Self Placement
According to the Ministry of Education, all Candidates awaiting their school placement should be cautious of pe sons who contracts them in the name of helping them secure their preferred schools at a fee.
