What is GESOPS? (Ghana Education Service Occupational GESOPS Pension Scheme)

The Ghana Education Service Occupational Pension Scheme (GESOPS) is a Tier-2 pension scheme registered and regulated by the National Pensions Regulatory Authority under the Pensions Act, 2008, (Act 766) as amended. The Scheme’s membership is drawn from employees of the Ghana Education Service, with members belonging to one of the Unions in the educational sector.

Who are the managers of GESOPS?

GESOPS is managed by a Board of Trustees with representation from relevant institutions such as the Ministries of Education, Finance, the Attorney General’s Department, the various Unions and an Independent Trustee.

How To Register For GESOPS as a Teacher

  1. STEP 1 – Visit Member login on the Web Address- www.gespensions.com.gh
  2. STEP 2 – Select create one to Register for the GESOPS portal
  3. STEP 3 – Enter Staff ID and SNNIT Number
  4. STEP 4 – Verify information provided
  5. STEP 5 – Enter Email address, create password
  6. STEP 6 – Enter Staff ID and Password

How do I check my GESOPS statement?

  1. Visit Member login on the Web Address- www.gespensions.com.gh
  2. Login if you have registered or click “Create one” to Register for the GESOPS portal
  3. Click on CHECK STATEMENT Choose your preferred date range
  4. Enter your log in password
  5.  Click on submit.
