Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has cautioned the general public against recruitment scam into the service.
In an official release signed by Ms. Angela Frimpomaa Nkansah, AG. Director, HRMD, the Service updated the general public on the spreading recruitment scam news in the recent times.
According to the statement, GES said, “numerous allegations/complaints of dubious people defrauding unsuspecting Nation Builders Corp (NABCO) beneficiaries seeking recruitment into GES.”
However, GES distanced themselves, stating that “these allegations are extremely upsetting and tarnish the Service’s reputation.”
Although the Service does not routinely demand money from candidates before hiring them, they (GES) have distanced themselves from these accusations.
The Service has not hired anyone to collect money on its behalf in connection with recruitment, the GES emphasized clearly.
The management denounced the practice of using recruitment scams and warned the public to report dishonest people to the authorities or pay the money at their own peril.
Ghana Education Service warned those who would become a target of the recruiting fraud that they “will not be held liable for such payment.”
