As graduates of the Basic Education Certificate Examination are being placed in their respective schools, the Ministry in Charge of Education has cautioned graduates and parents to avoid paying money to middlemen to get their choice of school.

According to the Ministry, placing graduates in a certain school is solely based on merit as it is determined by the performance of the candidate in the Basic Education Certificate Examination.
